She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Bradley and Ilagene Phillips Bradley; her husband Wilbur Reeve Ayer; her brothers, Mickey Bradley and Vernon Bradley; and her son-in-law Timothy Sanders.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Sanders of Graniteville, SC and Cindy Ferneyhough of Olar, SC; her stepdaughters, Sheila Mathis (Doug) of Columbia, SC and Lisa Mundy (Billy) of Williston, SC; her siblings, Wayne Bradley, Linda Edwards, Joyce Kennedy and Marie Terrell; and her grandchildren, Crystal Martie (Bryant), Jason Fail (Brandy), Chris Ferneyhough Jr. (Jennifer), Taylor Cable, Kayla Mathis, Kaitlyn Augustine (Keith) and Kelsey Cheek (Joel). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (6486 Confederate Hwy, Fairfax, SC 29827). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery (6632 Confederate Hwy, Fairfax, SC 29827).
