She is survived by: her children, Verna Carr (Frederick) of Wappingers Falls, NY and Charles Farrar of Florence, SC; her grandchildren, Gail Carr Young (Bennie) of Lewisville, TX, Lisa Carr McLaughlin (Geoffrey) of Peekskill, NY and Jocelyn Buffi Farrar Piacento (Francesco) of Florence, Italy; her great grandchildren, Isabella and Sophia Piacento of Florence, Italy.; and her sibling's child New Haven.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dixwell Ave. Congregational United Church of Christ (217 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dixwell Avenue Congregational United Church of Christ (217 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dixwell Avenue Congregational United Church of Christ.
