She is survived by: her children, Verna Carr (Frederick) of Wappingers Falls, NY and Charles Farrar of Florence, SC; her grandchildren, Gail Carr Young (Bennie) of Lewisville, TX, Lisa Carr McLaughlin (Geoffrey) of Peekskill, NY and Jocelyn Buffi Farrar Piacento (Francesco) of Florence, Italy; her great grandchildren, Isabella and Sophia Piacento of Florence, Italy.; and her nibling New Haven.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dixwell Avenue Congregational United Church of Christ.
