She was predeceased by: her parents, Atha C. Mangum and Graham Mangum; her husband Dr. Tom Roop; her sister Diane M.; her brother-in-law Johnny Duncan of Laurens, SC; her sister Marilyn M. Lee (Dennis) of Bluffton, SC; and her nephew Larry D. Lee, Jr. (Julie) of Rincon, GA..
She is survived by: her son Jonathan Michael Roop (Olivia) of Florence, SC; her stepson Timothy Jay Roop (Katy) of Charleston, SC.; and her sibling's children, John T. Duncan, Jr. (Marllyn) of Pendleton, SC, Jeff Duncan of Laurens County, Charles J. Lee (Charlotte) of Garden City, GA and Melody Duncan of Laurens County.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home (2402 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505).
