Benjamin Ben Edwards Obituary
Born on February 18, 1936, in Marion, South Carolina, Benjamin lived a long and meaningful life marked by dedication, resilience, and love for his family. He was a man of quiet strength, known for his steady presence, wisdom, and the values he passed down through generations.
Benjamin was retired and took pride in a life built on hard work and responsibility. He believed in providing for his family, standing on principle, and doing what was right—even when no one was watching. Those who knew him respected his character and the example he set through his actions rather than words.
Family was at the center of Benjamin’s life. He is survived by his loving wife, Dora Edwards, and his children Annette Edwards, Nancy Edwards, Carrie Edwards, and Sammy Edwards. He also leaves behind a legacy of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward his name, values, and memories.
He was preceded in death by his sons, James Edwards and Lewis Edwards, and his grandchildren, Brian Edwards and Travis Edwards.
Benjamin will be remembered for his enduring spirit, his devotion to family, and the lasting impact he made on those who loved him. Though his passing leaves a space that cannot be filled, his legacy will continue to live on through the many generations he helped shape.
Private services will be held by the family.
