He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert Lane and Dessie "Ginny" Watford of Virginia; and his sister Amy Lane. He is survived by: his children, Devin Carraway of Effingham and Holly Lane of Florence; his siblings, Joey Watford (Angie) of Florence, Jimmy Watford (Christina) of Coward, Patrick Watford (Tina) of Florence and Kammy Benton (Rick) of Timmonsville; his grandson Braeson Carraway of Effingham; his stepfather Joseph C. Watford; and his close friend Kelly Hall.
