She was predeceased by: her parents, Theo Cross Newsome (John Bazen) and Leon Marvin Truett. She is survived by: her husband J. Earl Russ of Florence; her children, Gay Pierce (Ricky) of Timmonsville and Lee McKenzie (Julie) of Darlington; her stepson Tommy Russ (Crystal) of Florence; her grandchildren, Katie Morrell (Ryan) of Timmonsville, McKenzie Pierce of Timmonsville, Joshua McKenzie of Darlington, Mason Russ (Leila) of Florence and Parker Russ of Florence; her great grandchildren, Banks Morrell, Brynlee Kate Morrell and Waylon Russ; her sister Jerri Campbell of Murrells Inlet; and her half-siblings, Fran Jean Key of Mount Morris, MI and Danny Truett of Flint, MI. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
