He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Commander Bruton and Helen Marie Prevatte Bruton; and his siblings, Jimmy C "Jimp", Tommy, Cecil, Jack and Francis "Jannette" O'Neil.
He is survived by: his children, Brandy Burgess-Bruton (Bobbi) and Dustin Bruton (Ashley); his sister Dorothy "Dot" Lynch; his close friend Andy Harper; and his grandson Teddy Bruton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Layton-Anderson Funeral Home (4210 W Palmetto St, Florence, SC 29501).
