With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christopher Neil Rouse of Florence, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2025 at the age of 53. He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Rouse; his stepfather Ronald Elbert Hill; his grandparents, Linwood Earl and Evelyn Taylor Stepps; and his uncle Ray Stepps.
He is survived by: his mother Linda Stepps Hill; his children, Javen Dawson Rouse of Florence, SC and Sarah Rouse of Opelousas, LA; his brother Ronald Eric Hill (Farrah Shelton) of Marion, SC; his daughter Faith Elizabeth Hill; his sister Ashley Lynn Hill (Shayne Matthews) of Marion, SC; his siblings' children, Ronni Lynn Hill and Greyson McElveen; his stepsister Wendy Denise Jackson (Jami Spivey) of Newport, NC; and his friend Jamie Baylor.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home (2402 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Florence National Cemetery (803 E National Cemetery Rd, Florence, SC 29506).
