He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Elizabeth. He is survived by: his children, Stephen D. Searcy (Gail) of Columbia and Mary S. Falcone (Brian) of Florence; his siblings, Donald Searcy of Chapmansboro and Marcia Searcy Cleveland of Cedar Mountain; and his grandchildren, Caroline Edens Falcone, Patrick Noble Searcy, Elizabeth Jennings Searcy, Mary Grace Falcone, Jones Taylor Searcy and Anna Frances Falcone. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Central United Methodist Church (167 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29501). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church or the Florence Humane Society.
