He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey William Powers Jr. and Pearl Hyman Powers; his sister Wanda Brown; and the mother of his children Deborah Andrews Powers. He is survived by: his wife Susan Roberts Powers; his sons, Chandler Powers and Brandon Powers; his stepchildren, Daniel Hudson (Kristin) and Mary Beth Creed (Tucker); his stepgrandchildren, James Creed, Katie Creed, Blakely Hudson and Emma Hudson; and his cousin Dotsy Dias.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home (2402 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at the Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery (3544 Timmonsville Hwy, Timmonsville, SC 29161).
