He is survived by: his wife Phyllis William Moore; his children, Donald K. Moore Jr. (Vicki) and Emily Moore Myers (Woody); his grandchildren, Meagan Mckenzie (Chris), Macy Cook (Levi), Taylor Foxworth (Ryan), Westley Hall (Anna) and Dalton Hall (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Grace McKenzie, Parker Cook, Elizabeth Foxworth and Jack Hall; and his siblings, Larry Moore (Stephanie), Stoney Moore (Maggie) and Carolyn M. Ard (Keith).
A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Liberty Chapel Church of Florence (7432 E National Cemetery Rd, Florence, SC 29506). A burial was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Liberty Chapel Church Cemetery (7432 E National Cemetery Rd, Florence, SC 29506).
