He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry D. Potter and Ruby McLeod Potter; his wife Gladys Capps Potter; and his stepson Michael Polk. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Angela L. Polk of Florence; his daughters, Deobra Dugie (Larry) of Texas, Dianna White (Bobby) of Texas and Deniese Guerrero (Mark) of Texas; his brother James M. Potter (Hagood) of Florence; and his nieces and nephews, Meredith Potter Campbell and James H. Potter.
