Stubbs (Joe); her daughters, Tammy Edwards (John) and Janice Barnes (Scott); her grandchildren, Ashley Welch and Chris Barnes (Jamie); her great grandchild Christopher Barnes; her stepdaughter Carol Consindine (John); her stepgrandchildren, Michelle Consindine and Paul Consindine (Beth); and her stepgreat-granddaughters, Anna-Mae and Emilia.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethea Retirement Community of Darlington.

“I met Doris at McLean Auto Supply in Laurinburg where we worked when Tommy and I got married in 1960, Joe worked with CP&L. Doris and Joe taught us to water ski and invited us to their beach home where they took us boating/skiing in the inland waterway. We now have a home in NMB, and whenever we cross the inland waterway , we wonder if their beach home survived the bridge construction. We haven't seen much of them for years, but their friendship never left us. Tommy and Jo Linda Creech”
