She was predeceased by: her parents, Effie Welch Hudson and Ben Hudson; and her husband Clifford Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Mitchell, William "Billy" Mitchell, David Mitchell, Lois Heath (Calvin) and Samantha Lane; and her siblings, Marylee Carraway, Ben Hudson, Jr., Gene Hudson (Shirley) and Paul Hudson (Shawn). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
