He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Estell Boyles Cochran and Lyman Cochran; and his brothers, L. W. Cochran, Steve Cochran and Edward Cochran.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Jackson Cochran; his children, Joey Cochran of Savannah, GA, Lori Dickerson of Savannah, GA and Maleah Gasque of Savannah, GA; and his siblings, Willie Cochran, David Cochran, Marie Bazemore and Linda Cummings. He is also survived by four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
