He is survived by: his wife Teressa D. Scott; his children, Lynn Zamarripa, Tiffany Dahunsi (Tolulope), Heather McNeill (Rodney "J. J."), Denise Allison (Chap) and Jana Sellers; his siblings, James Robert Scott (Linda), Mary Jane Goins and Pearl Rogers (Tommy); his grandchildren, Kayla Strickland, Gabriel Pesqueira (Daisy), Brannon Ikner (Hannah), Braxton Smith, Emelio Pesqueira (Chastity), Amber Grant (Jeremy), Taylor Pedersen (Michael), Kari Pedersen (Colton), Haily Todd, Cameron Pedersen, Trinity Pesqueira, Emma Allison, Lael Stone and Laundree Walls; and his mother-in-law Janice Nolan. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Layton-Anderson Funeral Home (4210 W Palmetto St, Florence, SC 29501). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
