She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Gilstrap and Etta Dickard Gilstrap; the father of her children Jack Rudolph Gaines; her husband Marion DuBose Campbell; her daughter Jackie Bonds (Lloyd); and her siblings, Paul Gilstrap (Jessie), Jean Holliday (Jason) and Helen Mahaffey.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Harrell (David); her sister Millie Skinner (Johnny); and her close friend Steve Johnson. She is also survived by four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
