He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Sturgill and Flora Sturgill (Tester). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his grandchildren, Michelle Lester, Kristen Mullins (Scottie), Caitlin Sturgill and Nicholas Bostic; his great grandchildren, Lindsey Hutchinson and Hunter Lester; his great great grandchild Kendyl Blankenship; and his sisters, Sharon Endicott and Vada Dickerson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
