He is survived by: his wife Edelmira Torres Hurd; his children, Tarique Hurd, Aaron Hurd, Carlos Ortiz, Terry Lee Hurd, Jeremiah Rivera, Malika Hurd, Alida Hurd, Yasmin Hernandez (Jon), Angela Marie Hurd and Grace Marie Hurd; and his siblings, Brian Hurd (Nina) and Maureen Salfarlie. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Watson's Funeral Services & Crematory (2300 US-378, Conway, SC 29527). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Watson Funeral Services Chapel (2300 US-378, Conway, SC 29527). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Florence National Cemetery (803 E National Cemetery Rd, Florence, SC 29506).
