He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Ward of Florence, SC; his daughter Leigh McElveen (Kyle); his grandchildren, Britton and Konner McElveen; his siblings-in-law, Marnie Brown (David) and Glenn Arrington (Jeanie); and his nieces and nephews, Chris Fogle (Angie), Sam Fogle (Kim), Nicole Whitlock (James), Haley Corbin (Kaleb) and Hannah Dillon (Tyler).
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Geer's name to a charity of one's choice.
