He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Paul Broach and Janie Locklair Broach; his daughter Elizabeth B. Little; and his siblings, Henry Broach, Earline Broach Moore, Alice Broach Coleman and Judith Broach Jeffcoat.

He is survived by: his children, Silas Eugene Broach of Florence, Hamer Legrande Broach (Peggy) of Mooresville, N. C. and Genise Calcutt (Ron) of Darlington; and his stepson Mervin Jack Watkins (Susie) of Dovesville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; former wife and mother.
