He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlyn Elizabeth Trochesset Horst and Harry William Horst; and his son William Horst. He is survived by: his wife Elisa Horst; his children, Marcello Pereira (Stacie) and Amber Crawford (Benjamin); and his sister Sandy (Brad).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home (2402 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (2536 Hoffmeyer Rd, Florence, SC 29501).
