She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Taylor and Lela Gillis Taylor; her husband Richard Earl Brown; and her siblings, Jerry Taylor and Bobby Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Hatfield and Debbie Wilson (Michael); her grandchildren, Michael Wilson, Jr. (Whitney), Patrick Hatfield and Courtney Dawkins (CJ); her great grandchildren, Lillian Grace Wilson and Harper Elizabeth Dawkins; her brother Terry Taylor; and her niece Sherry Smith (Joe).
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to First United Methodist Church of Hamlet.
