He is survived by: his children, Juanita Purvis (Wayne W.) of Effingham and Hoyt Alexander Perkins, Jr. (Sheryl) of Florence; and his brother Harry Perkins of Florence. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
