He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Fannie Maner Aycock and Collier Bennett Aycock; his wife Daphne Grooms Aycock; his children, Hugh James Aycock (Sonia) and Daphne Gayle Aycock (John Fuller); and his granddaughter Lilliella Gayle Aycock-Fuller.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home (2402 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Northgate Baptist Church (1217 N Ebenezer Rd, Florence, SC 29501). An entombment will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at the Florence Memorial Gardens (3320 S Cashua Dr, Florence, SC 29501).
