She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Hood Knight and Tealey Hurley Knight; her husband Jesse K. Purvis, Jr.; and her siblings, Mildred Knight, Mary Howard, June Albers and Bennie Knight.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeannie Derringer (Dennis) and Terry Hair (Robert); her grandchildren, Danielle Lambert (Champ) and Kelly Allen (John); her great grandchildren, Kaitlin Allen, Dylan Lambert, Rylie Allen, Tealey Lambert and Savannah Lambert; her friend Rod Washington; and her pet Minnie.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home (2402 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505).
