He is survived by: his wife Tonya Smith; his children, James Cody Smith (Taylor), Ramsie Lee Smith (Seth), Kelsie Beth Smith (Cruise) and Jamie Goins (Cassie); his grandchildren, Dyson Smith, Brantlee Heath, Bradley Goins, Olivia Gulledge, Nolan Smith and Baylor Goins; his brother Billy Joe Smith, Sr.; his nieces, Phyllis Cassidy and Donna Dority (Billy); and his mother-in-law Evangeline Litton. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Layton-Anderson Funeral Home (4210 W Palmetto St, Florence, SC 29501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
