He is survived by: his mother Sharon Marie Cannady Byrd; his wife Angela Nicole Lee McElveen; his children, Jessica Lynn Goodman (Sentell), Megan Danielle Cromer (Robbie), Aubrey Nicolas McElveen (Mary Beth) and Darby James McElveen (Ally); his grandchildren, Madison, Chelsey, Logan, Bryson and Nate; his siblings, Kristie Gilreath (Steve) and Jim McElveen (Lisa); his brother-in-law Ricky Owens; his aunt Peggy Carrasco; and his pets, Spade and Diesel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Florence Area Humane Society for the Jayne Boswell Animal Shelter, 1434 S. McCurdy Road, Florence, SC 29506.
