It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jimmy Floyd of Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Floyd and Hazel Lane Floyd; his son Johnny Floyd; his grandson Bryce; and his brother Ronnie Joe Floyd.
He is survived by: his wife Juanice McBride Floyd; his children, Jessica Morrison (Bryan) of Huger, SC, Ashley Grindstaff (Kevin) of Winston Salem, NC, Adrienne McCraw (Brian) of Greer, SC, Clara Floyd and Jim Floyd (Barbie) of Oates, SC; and his grandchildren, Grant Morrison, Destiny Altman, Bubba Grindstaff, Savannah Floyd and Madison Floyd.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Tans Bay Baptist Church (3919 S Irby St, Effingham, SC 29505). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
