She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Ard and Betty Porter Jones; her husband Willie Joe Purvis; and her sister Betty Faye Ard. She is survived by: her children, Willie Joe Purvis, Jr. and Victoria Gauthier; her grandchildren, Briona Hernandez, Bryce Hernandez and Jaxi Purvis; her niece April Floyd (Keith); and her siblings, Pearline Walden and Billy Porter.
