She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Godbolt and Dorothy Mae Timmons Godbolt. She is survived by: her husband George Durant Jr. of Mars Bluff, SC; her children, George Durant Jr., Kent James (Brandy), Gaven Godbolt (Sherell), Chris Godbolt (Lucille), Ashley Durant (Paul) and Sylvia Godbolt; her siblings, Mack Godbolt, Lonnie Godbolt and Debra Godbolt Grice; and her grandchildren, James Robinson, Elijah Godbolt, Lyri Godbolt, Jamal James, Alotnte Franklin, Myah Harrison, Jalen Franklin and Bean Godbolt.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Johnson Cemetery (4830 Rankin Plantation Rd, Florence, SC 29506). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Home of George and JoAnn (5041 E Old Marion Hwy, Florence, SC 29506).
