She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Lee Gibbons and Bannie Elbert Gibbons; and her sister Gwen Gibbons Tock. She is survived by: her husband James "Jimmy" McLaughlin; her son Jeff McLaughlin (Alicia); her granddaughter Elizabeth Anne McLaughlin; and her siblings, Bobby Gibbons (Jan), Margaret Gibbons Patillo (Bob) and Brenda Gibbons Gibson (Allen). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
