He was predeceased by: his mother Faye Dobyns. He is survived by: his father David A. Morgan (Joyce); his wife Jenny R. Morgan; his children, Jonathan D. Morgan and Melissa Morgan Lancaster (Samuel); his sister Wendy M. McAlister; his father-in-law Donald K. Rogers; his brother-in-law Kenny A. Rogers; and his pet Piper. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Faith Chapel (3609 Hoffmeyer Rd, Florence, SC 29501). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
