He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Solomon Heffler and Selma Cohen Heffler of New York. He is survived by: his wife Daphne Bazen Heffler; his children, Lesli Bazen McGee (Tony) of Florence and Barry Bazen of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Mekenzie, Caroline (Colby), Meghan, Sydney, Coleman, Joshua and Grace; and his siblings, Paul Heffler of Birmingham and Mimi Blumenthal (Jack) of Miami. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members and close friends.

For the protection and safety of everyone during the Covid-19 Pandemic, the family will have not have an open visitation and will have a private graveside service.
