He was predeceased by: his parents, Caleb Jesse Wilkes and Roberta Floyd Wilkes; his wife Thadglen C. Wilkes; and his brother Jack Wilkes. He is survived by: his sons, Scottie Wilkes of Olanta, Glenn Wilkes (Heather) of Olanta and Billy Wilkes (Cindy) of Olanta; his grandchildren, Michela Thomas, Tyler Wilkes, Samantha Wilkes, Abbey Wilkes, Gretchen Braxton (Joey), Chelsea Wysinger (Vince) and Mason Thomas; and his siblings, Jesse Wilkes (Margaret), Bruce Wilkes (Sarah), Diane Baker (Eugene), Faddie Wilkes and Loretta Hickson (Samuel).
