He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac G. Johnson and Mary Sue Gwyn Johnson; and his siblings, Mac Johnson and Virginia Carol Canard (James). He is survived by: his wife Catherine Murphy Johnson; his daughter Samantha Horton; and his grandson Joseph Horton.
