He was predeceased by: his parents, Dib Baxter Garris and Connie Johnson Garris. He is survived by: his wife Linda Stalvey Garris; his sons, Jon Chadwick Garris (Cheri Lynn), Andrew Kyle Garris (Claussen) and Christopher Ryan Garris (Patti); his grandchildren, Chandler Garris, Baylie Garris, Hunter Andrews, Carly Warren and Cameron Warren; and his brothers, Mike Garris (Diane) and Jeff Garris.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that any donations be made to the Frank Monroe scholarship fund care of the Florence Baptist Temple.
