It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John M. Anderson Jr. of Florence, South Carolina, born in Timmonsville, South Carolina, who passed away on August 13, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Mae Tarte and John Monroe Anderson, Sr.; and his sisters, Johnnie Mae Cornett and Doris Hinds. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee Griffin Anderson; his children, Brian D. Anderson (Heather) of Richmond, VA and Kristi Anderson of Florence; his sister Judy A. Boone of Florence; and his grandchildren, Douglas Anderson (Abby) of Charleston, SC and Sarah Whitney Anderson of Chattanooga, TN.. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
