We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2025, at the age of 83, John Hamilton Touchberry (Florence, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rollins Sr. and Virginia Rhodes Touchberry; his son John Christopher "Chris" Touchberry; Evelyn Matthews, Joseph R. Touchberry Jr., Willie E. Touchberry and Fannie Touchberry.
He is survived by: his significant other Carolyn Pigate Touchberry; his children, Robin Hewitt (Chris) and Amy Scott (Clint); his grandchildren, Kaylee Hewitt, Chloe Scott Jordan (Luke), Hayden Scott, Madeline Scott and Ella Scott; Wilder Jordan and Livingston Jordan. He is also survived by third of five siblings.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Waters-Powell Funeral Home (400 S Dargan St, Florence, SC 29506). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
