It is with sadness that the passing of Judie McDowell Jones of Florence, South Carolina is shared. Judie, born on December 26, 1949 in Savannah, Georgia, passed away on August 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry McDowell and Norma Elizabeth (Larry Richard Jones Sr.); and her sister Shirley Alderman. She is survived by: her children, Richard Jones (Vanessa), Shawn C. Jones and Lori Schiavone (Jon); her siblings, David Bailey (Linda), Arthur Bailey (Theresa), Catherine Smith and Karla Neeley (Larry); her grandchildren, Carter Speaks, Nate Speaks and Lauren Speaks; and her stepgrandchild Kyle Hunter.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home (2402 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505).
