We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2025, at the age of 93, Julian Blalock Hood (Florence, South Carolina), born in Wayne County, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Leon and Eunice Edgerton Hood; his wife Helen Ray Hood; and his siblings, Thomas Allen Hood, Harvey Leon Hood, Jr., Joe Carlton Hood, Floyd Edgerton Hood, James Robert Hood, Edna Earle Simmons, Thelma Hood Gavin Williams and Annette Hood Robinson.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra H. English of Southpoint, NC, William D. Hood of John's Creek, GA and Julie H. Jones of Florence; his siblings, Eunice Carter Baldwin (Kelly) of Bladenboro, NC and Roy Lee Hood of Toronto, Canada; his grandchildren, Almon Anthony English, Cari Rebecca Hood and Kaytlyn Rae Jones; and his great grandchildren, Jaxton Eli Kucek, Raya Corrinne Hanna and Julian Patrick Murman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Air Force Sergeants' Association or to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
