With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kaye J. Floyd-Parris (Florence, South Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Lee "Wimpy" Jones and Margie Gibson Jones. She is survived by: her husband Julius Gatewood Parris; her children, Lindsay Floyd Howard (Richard) of Darlington, SC, Joseph Jordan Adkins, Jr. (Nancee) of Summerfield, NC and Nichole Parris Thompson (Richard) of Crystal Lake, IL.; her grandchildren, Dr. Ellyn Adkins Boone (Hunter Boone), Grace Lawton Howard, Richard Huntley Howard Jr., Carter Cherilyn Thompson and Michael Julius Thompson; her brothers, Danny Lee Jones (Brenda), Richard Irving Jones (Margaret) and Raymond Brett Jones (Mary); and her pet Sir Gatewood of Pawleys. She is also survived by her family, friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Central United Methodist Church (167 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29501).
