He is survived by: his daughter Wendy Cagle (Jay); his grandchildren, Rivers Nettles Cagle and Katie Cagle Hicks (Jackson); his great grandchild Jack Cagle Hicks; and his siblings, Hazel Driggers, Martha Reeves, Teresa Cusaac, Christine Ard, Ernestine Nettles, Janine Nettles, Gerald Nettles and Bill Nettles. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Florence National Cemetery (803 E National Cemetery Rd, Florence, SC 29506).
