He is survived by: his sister Gloria Matthews; his sister-in-law Kathy Evans; and his sibling's children, Bobby Matthews (Sheila), Jason Evans (Ashley), Eddie Matthews (Tia), Susan Matthews and Billie Joe Hood. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
