We announce the death of Lawrence Joseph Ventimiglio of Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 78. Lawrence will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Ventimiglio and Rose Ventimiglio. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his siblings, Linda Aloye (James) of Reading, PA and Joe Ventimiglio (Fran) of Summerville, SC; his children, Lisa Baker (Anthony) of Rock Hill, SC and Michael Ventimiglio (Kristina) of Florence, SC; and his grandchildren, Seth Ventimiglio, Lainey Ventimiglio, Kinslee Ventimiglio, Lauren Lovett, Morgan Kemmerlin and Elizabeth Baker. He is also survived by his wife of 56 years, his children, his grandchildren, and his grand pups.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home (2402 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (113 State Rd S-21-352, Florence, SC 29501).
