He is survived by: his wife Katherine Carmon Defee; his children, Bert Defee (Charlene) and Sharon Hudson (Benjy); his brother Allen Defee; and his grandchildren, Tracy Dixon, Angie Cromer, Robbie Cromer, Brooke Defee, Amber Defee, Lori Defee and Maggie Rose Evans. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
