He is survived by: his wife Gloria Cottingham Echols; his children, Etta Mae "Peaches" Echols, Laduel Gandy and Willie Louis Echols; his grandchildren, Ekon, JaDen, Justyce, J'Hevyn and Edda; his siblings, Joan Cummings (John) of Columbia, Michael Echols of Covington and Charles Echols (Kellie) of Darlington; his aunts, Ruth Henderson (Al), Margie Echols Williams of Chicago, Carolyn Echols Shannon, Bessie Mae Echols Burgess of Florence and Deloris Alexander of Detroit, Michigan; and his friends, Charles Wilson and Carlos Anderson of Florence. He is also survived by other relatives; and friends.
