We announce the death of Michael Capps (Florence, South Carolina), who passed away on August 5, 2026, at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin L. Capps, Sr. and Gladys Turner Capps. He is survived by: his wife Laura Maxwell Capps; his children, Laura Capps "Nikki" Horne (Evan) and Paden Alan Capps (Claire) of Florence; his grandchildren, Dylan Horne and Kinsey Horne; his siblings, Sheryl Capps, Randy Capps, Tim Capps (Susan Dew) and Edwin L. Capps, III; and his brother-in-law Theodore L. "Tripp" Maxwell, III. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
