She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Laura Cockfield Dukes and James Dewey Dukes, Jr.; her husband Charles K. Allen; her daughter Elizabeth Elaine Allen; her siblings, James Alton Dukes, Walter Dukes and Judith Ann McClary; and her stepmother Mattie Lee P. Duke.
She is survived by: her siblings, Nancy Nettles (Leroy), Cheryl Dubose, Karen Whitlow (Dean) and Pete Hogan, Sr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice House.
