She was predeceased by: her parents, William Eugene and Velva Jeannine Montrose Powell. She is survived by: her sister Velva Jean Powell; her children, Danielle Leslie (Eddie), Chris Powell and Blake Powell; her grandchildren, Damian Matthews, Raymie Powell, Syriana, Zalee Wright, Alasia, Alanna Sims, Chad Peterson and Chris Powell, Jr.; her brother William Eugene Powell (Judy); her nephews, Eric and Jason Powell; and her niece Jennifer.
